A. Coming from
the Lehigh Valley and other points located north and east of us.
It’s an easy forty-minute drive
from the Lehigh Valley to Astor Swimwear in West Lawn, PA, near
Reading. Astor is only five minutes from both the Berkshire Mall and
the Vanity Fair Outlet complex.
From the Lehigh Valley,
1. Proceed onto Rt. 22 West.
2. From the MacArthur Road interchange on
Rt. 22 West, go 8.5 miles and TAKE Exit #49A Rt. 100 South to
Trexlertown. This is the 2nd exit at the Rt. 100 interchange.
3. Go 0.7 miles on Rt. 100 South and TURN
RIGHT onto Schantz Road to Reading. This turn is about 0.2
miles after crossing R.R. tracks. As you turn right, a Wawa gas and
convenience store is on far left.
4. Go 3.7 miles on Schantz Road, and at
stop sign, MERGE onto Rt. 222 South.
5. Go 14.2 miles on Rt. 222 South, and
pass a traffic light as you cross Rt. 73 at a Redners gas and
convenience store on left and a Tom and Jerry’s gas and convenience
store on right.
6. Go 1.4 miles & BEAR RIGHT to follow
Rt. 222 South to Reading and Lancaster. Do NOT go straight on
Rt. 222 South Business.
7. Go 8.0 miles and BEAR RIGHT at sign for
Rt. 422 West to Lebanon.
8. Go 0.8 more miles and, after
passing Berkshire Mall/Sears/Boscov's on your right, again BEAR
RIGHT at sign for Rt. 422 West to Lebanon.
9. When expressway ends, proceed on
Penn Ave. and pass the 4th traffic light. At this intersection
you’ll pass the Redners gas and convenience store on your left.
10. Go TWO more blocks to 2501 Penn
Ave., and TURN RIGHT at Intervilla Ave.

of the building with the red awning in front and a sign for
Scuba Venture. The Astor Swimwear
entrance faces Intervilla Ave.

B. Coming from
Lancaster and Exit #21 of the PA Turnpike and other points located
west and south of us.
It's an easy forty-minute drive
from Lancaster or fifteen minutes from Exit #21 of the PA Turnpike.
Astor is only five minutes from both the Berkshire Mall and the
Vanity Fair Outlet complex.
From Lancaster / Exit #21 of the PA
Turnpike,
1. Proceed toward Reading on Rt. 222
heading north and east. If you are proceeding from Lancaster,
you'll pass the Interchange at PA Turnpike Exit #21.
2. Continue on Rt. 222 past the
traffic lite at Rt. 568 as the old expressway ends. Approximately
two miles furthur on the old Rt.222 two and three-lane highway
you'll enter the construction area for the new expressway that
continues for about three miles and down a long hill. At the bottom
of the hill are restaurants and businesses on boith sides. Pass DAYS
INN and DELUXE RESTAURANT on your right. Pass traffic light at
STURGIS PRETZELS, and MOVE into LEFT lane preparing for left turn,
and TURN LEFT onto Rt. 724 West.
3. Go 0.7 miles on Rt. 724 West to THIRD
traffic light, and TURN RIGHT onto West Wyomissing Blvd.
4. Go 1.1 miles to SECOND traffic light
and TURN LEFT onto Penn Ave (Rt. 422 West).
5. Go TWO more blocks to 2501 Penn Ave.,
and TURN RIGHT at Intervilla Ave.

C. Coming from
Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Pottstown and other points
located east of us.
It’s an easy thirty-minute drive
from Pottstown to Astor Swimwear in West Lawn, PA, near Reading.
Astor is only five minutes from both the Berkshire Mall and the
Vanity Fair Outlet complex.
From Philadelphia, King of Prussia and Pottstown,
1. Go West on Rt. 422 expressway. Continue toward
Pottstown and note mileage as you cross Rt.100 in Pottstown area.
2. At 4.5 miles after you cross Rt.100, the Rt. 422 expressway
ends at a traffic light. Note mileage and continue straight on
Rt. 422 West.
3. At 7.0 miles from traffic light above, cross Shelbourne Rd.
(traffic light). Wendy’s on right, McDonald’s on left. Note mileage
and continue straight on Rt. 422 West.
4. After passing Shelbourne Rd., continue 1.0 miles and take left
fork at sign for West Rt. 422 – Reading. Note mileage and
continue straight on Rt. 422 West.
5. Go 2.2 miles and pass I-176. Note mileage and continue
straight on Rt. 422 West.
6. Go 1.9 miles and pass Rt. 222. Note mileage and continue
straight on Rt. 422 West.
7. Go 1.1 miles and pass Penn Avenue. DO NOT GET OFF HERE! Note
mileage and continue straight on Rt. 422 West.
8. Go 1.2 miles and pass Rt. 12. Note mileage and continue
straight on Rt. 422 West.
9. Go 0.4 miles and BEAR RIGHT, following signs to Rt. 422
West to Lebanon.
10. Pass Berkshire Mall/Sears/Boscov's on your right.
11. Go 0.8 miles past Berkshire Mall/Sears/Boscov's and BEAR
RIGHT, again following signs for Rt. 422 West to Lebanon.
12. When expressway ends, proceed on Penn Ave. and
pass the 4th traffic light. At this intersection you’ll pass the
Redners gas and convenience store on your left.
13. Go TWO more blocks to 2501 Penn
Ave., and TURN RIGHT at Intervilla Ave.
